In the morning sun a ginger cat sleeps on a blue cushion, the curves of the metal chair
seen from above create an enclosing frame; rigid lines contrasting with the fluid lines of
the animal. The picture is painted using the complementary colours orange and blue.
Even the neutral colours surrounding the central image are created using this same
colour relationships. .
