This cart belongs to the building behind - the owner has painted it in the same
colours as the woodwork on the building. The vehicle presents a delightful image against
the warm coloured stone work, but it is not there for its aesthetic appeal - the carts are
an important feature of life on the island as no cars are allowed and large items have to
be moved around on carts by teams of men and donkeys.
